We are located just 1 ½ hours East of Calgary and 16 km North/West of Brooks Alberta. We started this adventure of raising cattle 36 years ago with a few commercial cows which eventually turned into Gelbvieh/Red Angus herd. We bought our first Gelbvieh bull and we just loved the great traits he left in his calves. The females were very maternal, great dispositions, great udders, easy calving with loads of natural muscle mass. They always seemed to add those extra pounds to their calves. A couple years later we purchased some purebred females and from there we never looked back.

Over the years we pride ourselves in having a tremendous female foundation in our program. We want our females to be sound, good feet and legs, efficient, maternal with the ability to calve easy and wean off above average for that big performance. We are always looking for the next great genetics. We always believe that our mother cows are the most important step to a great program Pure Bred or Commercial.

Over the years we have bought and raised some tremendous herd sires, many that have been game changers for us.

We have an annual bull sale the first Tuesday/Wednesday of every year. We sell around 30 bull they are all hand pail feed a bull ration of around 12 lbs as well as free choice hay/grass silage bales. We have around 60 bulls and we call really hard in the fall to have the top 30-35 bulls to sell. We want our bulls to go out and work as hard for our buyer as we want our bulls to work for us.

Last year we changed our sale format to DLMS Farm Gate Timed Auction and we really liked it and had some really good feedback on the sale. So sale will be the same this year. March 4 and 5 2025 on DLMS.ca

The bulls will be at the farm for viewing any time before the sale. We welcome anyone to stop by for a visit and view the bulls and the cow herd.
